About

Route 67 (Pronounced “Root 67”) was founded in 2001, and is comprised of entertainers and musicians who have been a part of the Country Music scene for many years.   Route 67 focuses on Country Music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, as well as a few newer tunes and some original songs as well. This group has worked hard to develop their own unique style, and has managed to stay busy performing, recording and pleasing crowds everywhere. The band has just completed its fourth CD, and is looking forward to another year of shows throughout the country. Route 67 has performed twice on “Ernest Tubb’s Midnight Jamboree”, on WSM Radio in Nashville, which is the second longest running radio show in history, next to the Grand Ole Opry. Route 67 has performed with Gene Watson, Ray Price, Mark Wills, Moe Bandy, John Conlee, Little Jimmy Dickens, Highway 101, Connie Smith, Earl Thomas Conley, T.G. Sheppard, Mel McDaniel, Mark Wills, Daryle Singletary, Aaron Tippin, T. Graham Brown, Joe Diffie, Brett Eldridge, Sam Hunt, Michael Ray, William Michael Morgan, Lorrie Morgan, David Frizzell and  others. The band has also backed up country legends Jack Greene and Hank Thompson, as well as Missouri hit songwriter/singer Leona Williams and her son Ron Williams.
